The SUPER TRAD 301 SO SMART band saw features dual operating modes — semi-automatic and manual — and is designed for cutting metal profiles and solid materials, including structural steels, brass, aluminum, copper, and metals in general. It is suitable for medium-volume production runs and medium-heavy steel fabrication work.

The machine can perform a complete cutting cycle without the constant presence of the operator thanks to a hydraulic bow descent control system adjustable according to the type of material being cut. A selector switch on the control panel allows switching to manual cutting mode with controlled descent.

Cutting capacity ranges from 0° to 60° to the right and up to 45° to the left, with stop positions and a locking lever for any intermediate angle.

Large rotating worktable with synchronized bow rotation: this system prevents damage to the work surface, unlike traditional band saws.

Three-phase electric motor with two blade speed settings.

Hydraulic blade tensioning displayed on a pressure gauge, with a safety micro-switch for blade breakage or insufficient tension.

Hydraulic vise with handwheel and automatic workpiece clamping system, equipped with a practical quick-approach lever. Mounted on a rail allowing lateral movement.

The serrated steel vise jaws ensure effective clamping, even when cutting pipes.

Blade guide blocks with bearing sets and carbide plates for optimal cutting precision.

High-flow electric coolant pump for effective lubrication during cutting operations.

Semi-Automatic Cutting Cycle

Selection of cutting speed. Cycle start from the control panel. Automatic clamping of the material in the vise and execution of the cut. Automatic bow descent with variable speed controlled by a hydraulic regulator. At the end of the cut, the blade motor and coolant pump stop automatically.

Automatic vise opening and automatic return of the bow to the starting position (height adjustable by the operator via a mechanical device).

Manual Cutting Cycle with Controlled Descent

Clamping of the material to be cut. Selection of blade rotation speed and cutting start via a hold-to-run button on the bow lever. Bow descent controlled by the hydraulic regulator to maintain constant descent speed until the cut is completed.

Manual return of the bow to the starting position and opening of the vise.
